School Aims

 

Our aims are to develop ~

 

·        confident, motivated children who are enthusiastic, independent, life-long learners

·        children with a positive self-image and the confidence to try new things without being afraid of failure

·        caring children who take responsibility for themselves and their actions and who are sensitive to the needs of others

·        children who take pride in and responsibility for the school environment

·        children with a sense of belonging to the school community and to the wider community

 

To achieve these aims we will ~

 

·        provide stimulating and challenging learning opportunities, which enable each child to achieve their maximum potential in all areas of development - personal, academic, physical and creative

·        promote tolerance and fairness in a caring community where everyone is valued equally

·        create a stimulating internal and external environment in which children feel safe and happy and where they enjoy learning

·        promote good behaviour and manners by providing positive role models and encouraging pupils to do the same for each other
